How to self-insure?

The Constitution guarantees me the right to freely choose my profession and my place of work. Since I am a free spirit, and the nature of my job requires it, I do not want to be restricted by an employer, a fixed working time or a place.I don't have to register a firm to be my own boss.

The dynamics of the labour market and the prospects of this market suggest that self-insured individuals will be a mass phenomenon in the near future. How can one register as a self-insured?

Registration procedure

The administrative registration procedure goes through two main steps:

I.Registrationwith theBulstatRegistryIn

order to legally uphold my decision to self-insure, I must registerwithin 7 days of starting my businessin BULSTAT Register.

My duty of self-insurance arisesfrom the day of commencement or resumption of labor activityand continues until its interruption or termination.

Inthe Registry Agency— over the counter or electronically.Personallyorthrough authorized representative

1.Required documents:

• original and copy of diplomas or certificates for professional course
• identity card
• document for imported state registration fee 10 leva (can be submitted on the spot)
• application for registration 2 pieces

2.After successful registration,I receive a single identification code(UIC)(BULSTAT code), which coincides with my EGN.BULSTAT code certify with identification card.

NB!As an individual, I am entitled to only one registration.

II.

• ID card
• declaration for registration of a self-insured person (Declaration-1)

2.What kind of insurance obligations do I have?

When registering with the NRA I declare the type of insurance:

· mandatory by law - pension and health insurance

• fund “Pensions” - includes insurance for disability due to general illness, old age and death

· supplement- for general illness and maternity

3.What are the contributions and until what date are they paid?

• If you are insured only for a pension and health care, the contributions are 17.8% for a pension (including 5% for a CVT if he was born after 1959) and 8% for health on a minimum of 460 leva insurance.If you are also insured
