The group game — essence and why children prefer it:
A group game represents the game where children do things together.Games in which they climb, jump, fight, roll and even pretend to fight.
A group game is probably a basic human instinct that helps children develop a lot of skills - but mostly they like this kind of game because it's fun!
The group game helps toddlers to:
understand the limits of their strength;
to explore changing positions in space;
work out social relationships while playing roles, taking turns and arranging personal boundaries.
Games with Battles and Fighting:
You may worry that your child is aggressive, but usually plays a rough game or play a fight from the real thing.
At the group game, the kids laugh. You can see excitement and pleasure on their faces.
If you see frowning, crying, fear or anger, it's not a game. If the kids really struggle, they move away from each other after the battle is over.
Rough gameplay can sometimes lead to real fighting, so try to set some rules about what is good and what is wrong during the game. You may even be dealing with young children to find out what the rules should be.
Rough game requires a high level of energy - chasing, fighting, etc. Most importantly, everyone is having fun.Sometimes children can get hurt, but no one tries to hurt anyone else.
